In the November newsletter from Orlando Brewing they note they now have 'Draft Beer to Go' in one gallon glass bottles–basically a double growler. I'm going to try to stop by tonight and pick one up. You know, to test the quality…
Also, they have a coupon for buy one get one free on their beer of the month, the Pale Ale. So, if you are in the Orlando area, here's two more reasons to check out the brewery. You can also find their Pale and Blonde Ales at Urban Flats in Winter Park.

As I was perusing the A-B site I saw this press release:
Continuing its rich tradition of brewing special batches of beer for the holidays, Anheuser-Busch welcomes winter with a trio of unique, flavorful brews — Michelob Celebrate Vanilla Oak, Michelob Celebrate Chocolate and Budweiser Brew Masters’ Private Reserve. Available today through the end of the year, each seasonal beer was created with savoring and sharing in mind.
Has anyone had any of these? If so, how were they?
I haven't even seen them in my area yet. They may have been at the ABC I was at yesterday but I was too busy pawing over their Rogue selection (I got the Chocolate Stout and it was delicious).

Stone Mill Pale Ale from organic brewer Green Valley Brewing Company which we find out from A Good Beer Blog is Anhueser-Busch. It is good to see A-B using their super brewer powers for good. Not only is the beer good but distribution is (or should be as they roll it out) good so this one should be easy to find in the US.

I saw this on BoingBoing last week and was going to write about it but when I checked today, the auction had expired. However, there is now a new auction and you have a little over eight hours to bid.

As much as I hate to admit it, the holidays are coming soon. I'm already seeing Christmas crap at the stores and getting Christmas spam.
To make your holiday shopping easier, we've added an Amazon.com store to Hail the Ale! so you can shop for the beer lover in your life without having to leave your chair/couch/grass matt. Behold, the beer store:
