December 5 is the 73rd anniversary of Prohibition ending in the US (as well as the Day of the Ninja). What better way to celebrate than by having a beer? Thanks to Paul at Drink This Blog for pointing this out.

Finally, a government program I can get behind. It seems they've had success doing this with the wine industry in their state and want to do the same for craft brewers.

I don't know if it it the blog of Drink This or if they are suggesting you drink the blog, but I do know they have some cocktail recipes and are planning on covering beer and wine as well. In the November newsletter from Orlando Brewing they note they now have 'Draft Beer to Go' in one gallon glass bottles–basically a double growler. I'm going to try to stop by tonight and pick one up. You know, to test the quality…
