I've been busy, so I'm posting this halfway through American Craft Beer Week, so you only get a list of five instead of ten. Apologies to those w/out ADD.
- Go have a craft beer. Even better, have a different one each day of the week.
- Take a brewery tour. Buy some beer, a t-shirt, pint glass, or whatever else tickles your fancy.
- Buy someone a craft beer at your favorite pub, bar, restaurant, etc.
- Take someone who hasn't been to a brewpub or brewery.
- Have fun. Drink a beer. (shamelessly stolen from The New Complete Joy of Homebrewing)

Unfortunately, it wasn't me that took the pics, shot the video, or drank the beer. However, it is someone I know so I hope that counts.
John and his wife Kamrin (both fellow Orlandoans and all-around nice people) are touring the US and documenting it all at findingamerica.tv. Last week they took the Sierra Nevada brewery tour and did a nice writeup with pics, thoughts, and a video. Be sure to check out their other posts since they've hit a few more breweries in the following week.

I'll likely be having mexican for lunch (which is pretty typical for a Sat.) and heading to my local brewery for a beer, some darts, and Mr. Robert Johnson (who I'm pretty sure I met at the last Florida Creatives meeting…).
How about you? Any Cinco plans or are you staying away from what is probably the third biggest amateur drinker night? And the big question: will anyone be bold enough to try a Miller Chill?

Via Engadget:
Australian brewer Foster's has teamed up with scientists to create the world's first "beer battery".
The technology - using bacteria which consume sugar to generate power from brewery waste water - was unveiled at the University of Queensland.
The BBC article goes on to say the power output will be enough to power one household. I think it will look something like this:
