Rick sent us an email about his new site, Lyke 2 Drink:
Since late last month I've been working on a blog called Lyke2Drink. This new blog covers beers, wines and spirits; visits to wineries, distilleries and breweries; festivals and events; great bars; alcohol issues; beverage marketing; and fun. I have three goals: (1) Spread some of what I've learned during the last 25 years as a drinks journalist, (2) Learn more about the world of blogs so I can put it to use in my marketing communications career and (3) Have a good time along the way.
Check it out. We've added it to our Sites We Like here.
Bike Hugger has a post up about the Tour de Fat in Seattle put on by New Belgium Brewing. This looks like it would be a lot of fun. Check out Bike Hugger's post for details and links to more photos.
Also, if you like bikes get your Bike Hugger t-shirt while you are there. Mine arrived last week and the quality is great and the logo looks good.

This comes courtesy of Heineken's PR people:
Heineken USA (HUSA), the nation’s largest beer importer, and the United States Tennis Association (USTA) today announced the renewal of the contract with the US Open, the world’s highest annually attended sporting event, through 2010. Now in its 15th year of sponsorship, Heineken is continuing its efforts to enhance fans’ enjoyment of the event through premium brand experiences, and this year will showcase the smooth taste of new Heineken Premium Light.
Beer and tennis. Two great tastes that go together…uh, wait…that's someone else's slogan, I think…
