Beer Tasting - Big Sky Scape Goat Pale Ale

I don't know much about goats, except that males piss on their heads to
attract females.  This beer definitely didn't taste like piss, not
that I've ever tasted it.

Alright down to business, this beer is good.  Not great but
good.  It's  light bodied with a good hop balance.  The
ending is a little weird.  Prior to trying this brew I heard it
had a stange ending and it's the sour overtones of grapefruit.
The aftertaste isn't bad, it's just different and I would happily drink
another, and another, and another.

So next time you are out, grab yourself a Goat and enjoy the after taste.

Noah's New Ark

As much as I dislike Flickr, it does allow one to rummage through other
people's lives.  On occassion you'll find an interesting thing like
a boat made out of beer cans.  Hey, maybe the dude thinks he's
building the next Ark or he's preparing for the next Katrina.  Either
way, I'm disappointed that Chris and I didn't think of this
first.

Text Me a Beer

BmabFinally, a cool way to send someone a beer. Through buymeabeer.com, you can buy someone a drink. Their system will SMS them a text message with a code that can be used to redeem the drink at any Corney & Barrow’s.

Flash Game: Flying Spaghetti Monster

What does this have to do with beer? Well, Pastafarians, you get a beer volcano and stripper factory in heaven so go play. Ramen! (and stop laughing at my high score)

Breweries Helping After Katrina

The Brew Site notes that some of the brewers here in the US are helping out by donating water and money:

    * Anheuser-Busch brewery bottling water for hurricane relief: AB has got several of their breweries canning drinking water and delivering it to the Gulf Coast.
    * Here's a picture of one of those cans of drinking water on Flickr.
    * Brewery, employees donate $24,000: Our local Deschutes Brewery matched employee contributions and raised a good chunk of money.
    * Miller Brewing Company Boosts Water Commitment to Aid Hurricane Katrina Relief Efforts: Miller is donating water and is donating up to $1,000,000.

Last year after one of the three hurricanes that came through our area hit, A-B also provided canned water.
