Vermont Lawmaker Wants to Lower Drinking Age

Using the “if you’re old enough to die for your country, you’re old enough to drink” reasoning, a  Vermont state legislator Richard Marron wants to lower the drinking age to eighteen. Doing so would mean Vermont would lose about $10 million in federal highway funding.
